Effects and risks of a supposed 25mg dose
Diazepam is a long-acting benzodiazepine that calms the central nervous system by boosting GABA activity. A real 25mg single dose would be very high (typical prescribed single doses are 2–10mg; daily totals rarely exceed 30–40mg under medical supervision). It could cause:
Heavy sedation, drowsiness, confusion, and memory loss
Impaired coordination and slowed breathing
High risk of overdose, especially when combined with alcohol, opioids, or other sedatives
Rapid development of tolerance and dependence
Counterfeit versions increase dangers like unexpected potency, contamination, or completely different drugs. Fake diazepam has been linked to deaths and hospitalizations.
